About

Karri is an experienced disability specialist with 15+ years in the disability and mental health industry and has been operating as an independent since 2022.

She is passionate about empowering her clients with a strengths-based, solution-focused approach. She prides herself on her integrity, empathy and a strong personal value base.

Her key skills include relationship building and adaptability. She has a deep understanding of NDIS and disability service providers and is skilled in advocacy, negotiation, and networking. She has honed her critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills through her diverse urban and remote community services background.

Karri’s experience includes not-for-profit, state government and private sectors. She has worked as a Local Area Coordinator at the Department of Communities Disabilities Services; a Support Coordinator with a not-for-profit organisation; and has worked in community mental health outreach.

As an independent Support Coordinator and Recovery Coach, Karri focuses all her energy into her clients with a mixture of pragmatism, good humour and a desire to see her clients thrive.

She is a creative thinker and is determined to find the right resources for her clients, making the most of what is available in their plan. She is skilled at negotiating with the NDIS to increase supports if circumstances have changed.

Karri gets much satisfaction from seeing her client’s lives becoming a little easier. Her aim is to have her clients feel heard, informed and well-supported.

Karri has been a resident of Cockburn for 10+ years and is active in her local community.

Karri is conscious of her environmental impact and values sustainability. She is a parent and a registered personal stylist with Image Innovators. In her spare time, she enjoys conducting wardrobe audits, discussing colours, and helping people look and feel their best with a healthy dose of op-shopping. Karri is also a keen swimmer and loves spending time walking in our local Cockburn nature reserves.
